Our Statement of Faith

We affirm the foundational truths of the Christian faith as revealed in Scripture and upheld throughout Church history:

  • Salvation is by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, revealed through God’s Word alone, and for God’s glory alone.

    (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Ephesians 2:8; John 14:6; Matthew 5:16)

What We Believe

  • God is the one true God, the Almighty Father, Maker of heaven and earth. (Isaiah 44:6; Genesis 1:1)
  • Jesus Christ is God’s only Son, our Lord, born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit. (Luke 1:27, 1:35; John 3:16)
  • He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, buried, and descended into hell. (Luke 23:24; 1 Cor. 15:3–4)
  • On the third day, He rose again, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the Father. (Acts 1:11; Hebrews 1:3)
  • He will return to judge the living and the dead. (2 Timothy 4:1)
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, who empowers, guides, and convicts. (John 16:7–13)
  • We affirm the universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and eternal life. (Ephesians 4:4–6; John 10:28)
